QA on Purchase Appraisal
-
What information is required to appraise heavy equipment/construction machinery?
-
For an appraisal, the machine name and model information are required.
If possible, please also provide information on the machine’s condition and the hour meter (operating hours). To provide a more accurate appraisal amount, we recommend sending photos of the machine and any materials that show its condition.
-
How is the appraisal conducted?
-
We provide free on-site appraisals anywhere in Japan.
The appraisal itself is free of charge, and there are no additional fees even if the sale does not go through.
-
Please tell me about costs after the appraisal.
-
The appraised amount is the total amount including pickup costs, and no additional charges will be incurred beyond the quoted amount.
We will transfer the quoted amount in full.
-
What is the payment process after the appraisal?
-
To ensure you can trade with confidence, if you are satisfied with the appraised amount, we will either make payment in advance before picking up the machine, or pay in cash on the pickup date.
-
Can you appraise broken or non-running machines?
-
Yes, we can offer a high-value appraisal even for broken or non-running machines. We will present the best price based on the condition.
-
How do the pickup and payment process proceed?
-
Please send the documents required for pickup (vehicle inspection certificate, power of attorney, certificate of seal registration, etc.) in advance by email or fax.
We will visit to pick up the machine at the date and time you specify, and make immediate payment in cash or transfer funds to the financial institution you designate. For vehicles, once the change of ownership is completed, we will send you a copy of the new vehicle inspection certificate.
