The machine in use was a Hitachi Construction Machinery ZX30U-2 mini excavator. The starter motor was unresponsive, making it impossible to start the engine. Since the project schedule was tight and the customer needed the machine running as soon as possible, we immediately proposed an on-site repair service.

① Starter Motor Removal
First, the power supply was completely disconnected, and the starter motor was removed. Although working within a cramped engine compartment, the unit was carefully disassembled to avoid damaging the wiring or other components.

② Replacement with a New Starter Motor
The unit was replaced with a new part prepared in advance. We ensured secure connections, paying close attention to terminal tightening torque and wire routing.

③ Operation Check and Start-up Test
After the replacement, the engine started successfully upon turning the key. The start-up performance was restored, much to the customer’s relief. We confirmed smooth operation with no abnormal noises or poor connections.
