Today we show a hydraulic hose replacement on a Yanmar ViO20-3 mini excavator. The customer told us, “Oil is pouring out around the arm, and it sprays out when I start the engine.” They could not use the machine on site.

Repair Method

Visit the site and inspect the damaged area.
Remove the damaged hydraulic hose and take it back to our yard.
Make a new hydraulic hose.
Return to the site and install the hose.
Refill the hydraulic oil and the job is done.

Repair Details

Following the burst hose back, we reached the control valve. To remove the damaged hose, we also removed hoses that were not damaged.
Removed.
We reused what could be reused to reduce cost and made a new hydraulic hose.
Back on site, we install the new hose.
After installing the new hose, we reconnect the hoses we removed, checking carefully that each one goes back in the right place.
